The Little Central Studio

The back house on the property is a duplex with two units, one of which is a tiny studio apartment. I recently took a break from working on the Retha Victorian to remodel the studio.

In addition to painting the ceiling, walls, floors, and doors, I installed new trim on all the doors and windows. I built a sitting area in the kitchen out of stuff in my garage, and got creative with furnishings throughout the small space.

The bathroom had more of the painter's-tape-blue floors, along with a broken toilet and rusted sink. I replaced the toilet and vanity, added a beadboard wainscot, and painted the tops of the walls a dramatic dark blue green.
